This is the art and the science of estimating the value of a particular interest in property for a specific purpose at a particular moment in time taking into account all features of the property and also considering all the other market factors.
Who carries out valuation?
This process is conducted by a Registered and Practicing Valuer who has the necessary knowledge and experience in carrying out the exercise. This renders their services competent and professional.
What does it mean by being a registered and practicing Valuer?
A registered and practicing Valuer is an individual who is registered under The Institution Surveyors of Kenya professional body, and licensed through the Valuers Registration Board, allowing them to conduct and practice valuation.
